We believe that most learning happens when we are enjoying ourselves, and that creativity and play are endless sources of discovery and growth.
The rise of AI is going to have a profound effect on education, and we want to be known for using this powerful new tool in all the most positive ways.
Learning is most effective when kids are exposed to concepts in different ways, and we imagine a tool where there are numerous modes and nodes for educational pathways.
At the heart of our product is a story that serves up magical adventure with a side of science, culture & ethics.
We think amazing things happen when you give kids the tools and space to be creative, and we very much plan to do this here.
Every child learns a little differently, and likes different things; we think their online playspace should reflect that diversity.
We are not here to be selling info about your kids - or you - to advertisers.
As much as possible, we hope to reflect the diversity of cultures, beliefs, and lifestyles of kids and communities across the world.
We invite participation and contribution from people across all races, genders & religions.
I’m Alex, the product developer. I’m bringing my decades of experience inventing games, teaching, storytelling and making art - not to mention being the fun uncle, always trying to teach through creativity and play - into building this app.
I’m Caroline and I’m passionate about playing games, solving jigsaw puzzles, exploring new places and spending time with family. I’m a firm believer in the power of storytelling and fostering curiosity. I bring more than 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, system testing, user experience, business analysis, project management, and solving problems to this endeavor. I’m extremely proud and honored to partner with my creative brother on our mission and journey!
We would be remiss not to mention our other sister - a key advisor on all matter educational and parenting - who holds a phD in education and current works as a dean of a grad school, in addition to being mother two our awesome nephews.
Leading our kid-testing team are our nephews, who are 10 and 6. They are the first to try out new features and give us feedback on what they like and what they don't.
